Betty Lou Chotlos (Henry), 97, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. Betty was profoundly driven to help everyone in need and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity.
She was born in Sharon, PA in 1928 to parents Harry and Helen Mae Henry (Hoffman) and was one of seven children. Betty attended Sharon High School before marrying George Chotlos whom she shared a life with for 46 years. Betty and George had two daughters, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
After her children were raised, Betty began working as a bookkeeper for AAA Motor Club in Greenville where she was employed for nearly 20 years. Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. A woman of strong faith, she was an active member of St. John's Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church, until its closing.
Surviving are: her daughter, Cheri Stephan, Commerce MI; son-in-law Ed Rodocoy, Hermitage PA; grandsons Steven Narbut (Liesl), Saline MI; and Nicholas Rodocoy, Hermitage, PA; granddaughters Jill Dobiesz (Tim), Suwanee, GA; and Christa (Steven) McLellan, The Villages, FL; and five great grandchildren, Braden and Elyse Narbut; Gina and Nolan Dobiesz; and Noah Rodocoy.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband George, daughter, Constance Rodocoy, four sisters, Constance Paulson, Mary Margaret Holzshu, Dorothy Schepp, and Donna Henry and two brothers James and Roger.
