Betty Collins Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Betty worked at Nehls Market in Oak Harbor and then Kroger in Port Clinton. She was a Cleveland Guardians "Indians" and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Betty was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor and Oak Harbor Eastern Stars. She was a past president of the Eagles Aux. in Port Clinton. Survived are her daughter Dawn Zerbo of Port Clinton, OH; grandson: David (Janelle) Hazelton of
Genoa and great-grandson: Garrett Hazelton. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Wynne Shanteau, Bill Hasselbach and Marcia Kayden.
A Celebration of her Life will be held Monday, October 6, 2025 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Memorials may be made to Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, 3620 E. State Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452. Online condolences can be made at www.neideckercrosserpriesman.com.

Dawn and family, so sorry for your loss. You are a special daughter to have taken care of your mom all these years. She will leave a big void in your life so maybe you can spend more time with your grandson. I so loved the euchre games we played at my mom´s house with your mom, Bill, Karen and my mom, my brother and myself. Such great memories.
