Betty J. Cornett

Betty J. Cornett, age 82, of Germantown, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday September 27, 2025, with loving family by her side. She was born in Linton, Indiana on May 27, 1943, daughter of the late Mary (Drake) and Austin J. Bastin. She was a former member of the United Baptist Church in Miamisburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Patricia Ann "Patti" Bastin and her sister Marjorie "Joyce" Black. Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Cornett; 2 grandchildren, Amy and Rachel Claggett; her great-granddaughter Ava Johnson; her nephew Larry Black; 2 nieces, Tammy (David) Burke, and Terri (Tom) Bradbury; her brother-in-law, Ed Black; numerous other great-nieces and nephews. A Private Graveside will be held at Germantown Union Cemetery. Dalton Funeral Home, Germantown serving the family.
