Betty G. Dungan, age 92, of Little Rock died on January 17, 2023. She was born in 1930 to Minnie Etta and Ebon Noel Gibbs. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Gail Gibbs Ray. She was the widow of Dr. W.T. "Tom" Dungan, Jr., to whom she was happily married for 56 years. She and Tom loved to travel and visited every continent during their years together. They especially loved traveling with their friends and family, including trips to see the Arkansas Razorbacks as well as several fun cruises.

Betty ("Boo") and her husband were active members of St. Mark's Episcopal Church for over 50 years. She was involved for many years in the Junior League of Little Rock, Community Bible Study, the Arkansas Children's Hospital Auxiliary, and Volunteers in Public Schools.

She is survived by two daughters, Gail Dore (Jeff) of Atlanta and Susan Butler (Steve) of Benton, and four grandchildren, Justin Tarkington, W. Seth Tarkington, Rebecca Dore Spies (Jeff) and their daughter Ida, and Robby Dore (Maggie).

The body will be cremated and interred in St. Mark's columbarium. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Monday, January 23, 2023, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi St., Little Rock, 72207. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's or to either Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, 72202, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 98018, Washington, D.C., 20090.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff of The Manor Benton for the TLC they've given to "Miss Boo" since 2018. We also appreciate the staff of Hospice Home Care for their support for us, and for making our mom's last days comfortable. Thanks also to RuebelFuneralHome.com for their helpful service.
