Betty P. “Pat” Egger, 87, of Sandy Lake, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. Pat was born to Charles “Chuck” Reynolds and Edna (Marker) Reynolds on November 22, 1937. Pat graduated from Lakeview High School.

Pat married the love of her life, Howard Egger, on April 11, 1959. He preceded in her in death on November 13, 2022.

Pat was a member of New Lebanon Community Church for 75 years and was the oldest female member. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Pat enjoyed her job, driving buses for many kids and athletes over the years. Pat loved playing bingo and crafting with her girls. She relished in the time she spent bowling with Howard, even making it to states herself a few times. Pat had two best friends in her dogs, Bridgette and Buddy. She always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family, and will be dearly missed by them all.

Pat is survived by her children; Joyce (Keith) Engstrom of New Lebanon, Michael (Karen) Egger of Sandy Lake, and Jeff (Marty) Egger of Adamsville, PA. Pat is survived by her grandchildren: Jarret (Leanna) Engstrom, Timothy (Sheri) Egger, Gregory (Samantha) Egger, Crystal Stiver, Cheyenne (Mark) Prokopovich, Colton Egger, and Jeremy Egger. Pat is survived by nine great-grandchildren. Pat’s sister-in-law Betty Reynolds of MI, her cousins; Judy, Rita, Carol, and Janet, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins, will cherish her memory.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Pat was also preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Howard J. and Ella May (Myers) Egger, as well as Pat’s brother, Thomas Reynolds.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153. Friends and family will be welcomed at New Lebanon Community Church from 11-12 on April 12, 2025. At 12, there will be a memorial service officiated by Rev. Virginia L. Gadsby at New Lebanon Community Church. Private inurnment will take place at New Lebanon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pat's name may be made to New Lebanon Community Church.
