Betty was born on May 1, 1945, to Paul and Jenny (Maykowski) Getway.
She was a 1963 graduate of Sharpsville High School. After high school she worked at Packard Electric and retired from there.
She is survived by a sister, Cheryl (Mark) Lewis; Nephews, Jason Lewis and Brian Shoenerr; Niece, Kim Swanson. Also surviving are 3 great nephews, John and Ben Swanson and Lucas Shoener; Great niece, Mia Shoener.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her maternal and paternal grandparents, a sister, a niece and her companion.
The family has requested on behalf of Betty that there will be no services. May she rest in peace.
