Betty Elizabeth Bunnell Haney, age 75 of Hudson, KY passed away August 21, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Louisville, KY on January 23, 1949, daughter of the late Nancy Ann Moore. Betty was an employee of Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, where she was an ER tech and CNA. She was a KY Colonel. Betty enjoyed riding her Harley, loved her job, marshmallow Peeps, watching Steve Harvey and Family Feud and her dog Baby Girl. She adored her family and they loved her.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Lorraine Bunnell and her brother William Parsley.
Betty is survived by Fulton, her husband of 59 years.
3 sons – Marty Haney and Rodger Dale Haney of Louisville, KY and Derald Wayne Haney (Sherry) of Brandenburg, KY
3 daughters – Salina Marie Coggeshall of Hudson, KY; Amanda Jean Gibson of Radcliff, KY and Patricia Leigh Dennis (Aaron) of Hardinsburg, KY
13 grandchildren – Tara Goodlett, Shawn Haney (Jennifer), Destiny Vogt (Connor), Justin Henning (Mary), Kari Haney, Ayden, Olivia and Alaina Dennis, Jordan, Jacob, William, Saylor and Gregory
4 great grandchildren – Grayson, Clarissa, Marshall and Connor
1 brother – Robert Earl Bunnell (Julie) of St. Augustine, FL
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2 PM with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday. All times are central.
