Betty Holloway Obituary

Well-known for her enduring faith, Betty was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, especially with her roses. Crossword puzzles were among Betty's cherished pastimes.
Betty was devoted to her family. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she expressed it in countless ways. Her kindness and the gentle strength she embodied will be missed and forever remembered.
She is survived by her husband of over 63 years, Rev. Huey Holloway; children, Teresa Harrington (Ronnie) and Timothy Holloway; grandchildren, Tyler Harrington (Cheyenne) and Chandler Harrington (Monica); great-grandchildren, Myla Harrington and Brooks Harrington; siblings, Roy Smith, Jean Goss, JR Smith, Dorothy Griffith, James Smith, Dorine Johnson and Freddie Smith; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joey Watson and Rev. Cliff Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12th from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
