Bill Cloud

Bill Cloud passed away peacefully at his residence on October 9, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on May 14, 1937, in Cherokee County, Georgia.
He was a U.S. Marine Veteran who proudly served his country and a retired truck driver. Bill's word was his bond, and those who knew him respected him for his steadfast honesty. Bill was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he devoted himself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being. He was an enthusiast of westerns, Bill could often be found with his eyes fixed on the screen, lost in the stories of cowboys and the old frontier.
Bill will be remembered for the strength of his character and for the simple, profound pleasures he enjoyed. He lived his life as a model of what it means to be a hard worker, a reliable friend, and a man of substance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Marie Cloud.
Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pam Cloud; children, Billy Cloud (Maxey), Jeff Cloud (Debra), Shannon Rhodes (Jamie), Travis Temples (Debbie) and Debbie Clinton (Bob); sisters, Barbara Milford (Joe) and Carolyn Grimsley (Ray); 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gerral Richards and Rev. Kenny Collett officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 10th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, October 11th from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 12th from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
