Betty Wheeler Flowers Ibison, a cherished wife, mother, and aunt, passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 16, 1945, in Jackson, NC, she was the youngest of five children to the late Venable Franklin Flowers and Willie Sarah Wheeler Flowers.

Betty was a proud graduate of Wendell High School and subsequently served as the Vice President of A.B. Brannock Export Company during the 1980s. She also contributed to the operations of the Bill Ibison Stone Company alongside her husband, Billy Ray Ibison, until his retirement in 2008.

She was known for her affectionate farewell, singing "A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. Yes, I do I love you" to her grandchildren. She loved hummingbirds; they had a special place in her heart. Her deep faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found solace in listening to The Gaithers Gospel music.

Betty is survived by her devoted husband, Bill; her daughter, Paula Perry Pearce; her son, David Allen Harmon Jr. (Kimberlie); grandchildren: Samantha LaBertew, David Allen Harmon, III.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her two brothers: Alvin Ray Flowers, James Arthur Flowers; sisters: Shirley Glover Richardson, Marjorie Dale Dennis.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 24, 2025, at Greenmount Cemetery, 536 W Academy St, Wendell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
