William Clyde Ibison, 85, a cherished father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas, surrounded by his family.
Born on July 7, 1940, in Greenwood, Arkansas, Bill spent most of his childhood in Santa Paula, California before moving to Weatherford in 1980. He was a gentle, kind hearted soul and a friend to many. Bill was a long-time employee of Kennedy Sausage in Weatherford, Texas.
Bill was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas, and enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Florabell Ibison, and his son, Jeffery Scott Ibison.
Bill is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pauletta “Kay” Ibison; his son, Steven Elliott Ibison, and his wife, Beverly, of Wesley Chapel, Florida; his daughter, Lori Kay Ibison of Weatherford; grandchildren, Talor Witek, and her husband, Blaine, Trevor Ibison, and his wife, Lindsey, Megan Ibison, Kristin Ibison, Laci Gray, and her husband, Nathan, Makenzi Whitley, and her husband, Jordan, and Madison Ewings, and her husband, James; and 11 great-granddaughters.
The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the funeral chapel.
Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2025, at Liberty Cemetery, 11736 AR-96, Greenwood, Arkansas 72936.
