Betty Klumpe Obituary
Betty was born on August 20, 1936 in Maywood, NE to parents Walter and Anita Werkmeister.
Betty graduated from Maywood high School in 1954. She married Norbert Klumpe on April 4, 1956 at St. Williams in Welfleet, Nebraska and to this union one son was born, Randy. She lived in rural Hayes County most of her life and later moved to Maywood.
She enjoyed bowling and an occasional trip to Rosebud.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert, her parents, Anita and Walter Werkmeister, Gary Werkmeister (Brother)
Betty is survived by her son, Randy Klumpe (Penny) of Maywood, NE; Jim (Barb) Werkmeister, Gary (Kari) Klumpe Valerie, Chance Klumpe, Paige, Karson Klumpe, Kaden Klumpe, Natalia, Weston Harvey, nieces,Kelly, Angie, Tammy, nephews, Mark, Mike, and great-niece Kate (Jack).
Graveside service will be held 11:30 am, Friday, January 24. 2025 at Maywood Cemetery, Maywood, Nebraska.
Memorials may be made to Frontier County Fire and Ambulance.
