Betty Marie Linhart

Betty Marie Linhart, age 90, passed away into the arms of our Lord and Savior on April 5, 2025 following a short illness at the Bethany Nursing Home in Canton, Ohio. She was born in Canton on December 1, 1934 to the late Flo and Sherman Snook. She graduated from Lehman High School in 1952 and from Aultman Hospital School of Nursing. She was formerly employed in the Labor and Delivery section at Aultman Hospital, the Stark County Woman's Clinic, and worked as a RN for Dr. John Andrea's office and also for Dr. Andrew Botchner's office. Many families may remember her teaching parent classes to new parents at Aultman Hospital. She was a devout Christian who was highly dedicated to her family. She loved to cook, solve puzzles, watch birds, and have lunch out with her friends. She also loved God's creatures, especially dogs, and had many cherished pet dogs over the years. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin of 49 years, her brother Dale Snook (Shirley), and sister Gladys Mathes (Dan) and leaves behind her loving children, Laura Fletcher of Canton, Steven (Susan) of Leesburg, VA, Dr. Amy Connors of Fircrest, WA, and Erick (Cristy) Linhart of Pemberville, OH; grandchildren, Sarah Linhart, Katherine Connors, Ashley Connors (Dawson Murphy), Benjamin Connors, Zack Linhart, and Jake Linhart; one great-granddaughter, Alexandria Linhart; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of the Bethany Nursing Home of Canton and Crossroads Hospice who were so loving and caring. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at noon at Reed Funeral Home located at 801 Pittsburg Ave NW, North Canton, OH with Pastor Kenneth Krause officiating. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00am-noon. Interment will follow at Henry Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty's name to the Aultman School of Nursing or the Humane Society of Canton.
