Betty Marth Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All County Funeral Home & Crematory - Treasure Coast Chapel on Apr. 17, 2025.
Betty Ann Crane Marth 94, from Fort Pierce, Florida passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Florida. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut to William and Agnes Crane.
At the age of 18 she married the love of her life Russell Marth, and they settled in Vernon, Connecticut, where they raised their two children. She was married to Russell for 71 years up until his recent passing in 2021.
Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Although Betty ironically never possessed her drivers license that didn't stop her from doing and seeing everything in this world that she wanted! Betty was an avid sports fan. Any given afternoon or evening Betty would be in front of the TV or even sitting in the stands cheering on her favorite teams, The Boston Red Sox, The New England Patriots and the team that was near and dear to her heart, The UConn Lady Huskies!
As a young girl Betty was a member of The Rainbow Girls and The Eastern Star she was very active in the PTA at Lake Street Elementary School and befriended many of the teachers there. As her years waned on Betty in addition to watching her favorite sports teams would watch all the TV game shows she thought it would keep her mind sharp, which it did!
She is survived by her daughter Tammy Hill of Lake Worth, Florida, her son Clinton Marth of Manchester, CT, grand sons Jesse Greenberg of Lake Worth, Florida and Nathan Marth of Vernon, CT and granddaughter Abigail Marth of Vernon, CT.
At the family's request to honor Betty, donations to Hospice By The Sea in Boca Raton, Florida would be highly appreciated.
Burial and Services will be at a later date
