Betty Orr Millians, a beloved member of the Newnan community, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on January 14, 1933, in Newnan, GA, Betty spent her entire life on the land she cherished, embodying the spirit and resilience of her hometown.As a dedicated co-owner of Coweta Monument and Fence, Betty worked alongside her husband for over 50 years, fostering a legacy that will be remembered for generations. Her compassion and dedication extended beyond her business, as she served as the secretary for Newnan First United Methodist Church, where she touched the lives of many with her warm spirit and kindness.Betty leaves behind a loving family, including her son Tim (Helen) Millians; granddaughter, Susanne (Tom) Hubbard; great-grandson, Kyle Wells, Jr, and great-granddaughter, Mary Beth Wells as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at McKoon Funeral Home on Sunday, July 13, 2025, between 1:00 and 2:30 PM, providing an opportunity for friends and family to gather in remembrance of this remarkable woman. A graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery at 3:00 PM, where she will be laid to rest among the community she loved so dearly. Rather than flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to her beloved church, New Hope Baptist Church, 3989 Old Corinth Road, Newnan, GA 30263.

Betty's legacy of love, dedication, and community service will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.Betty was preceded in death by husband, Jackie Millians; parents, Robert "R.E." Orr, Mary Wheelus Orr; three brothers, and three sisters.
