Betty Hartley Moore, 95 of Tuscaloosa, passed away on June 23, 2025 at Heritage Health Care Center. Services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Noon at Magnolia Chapel South with Pastor Dolan Davis officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held at the chapel one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 am at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Samuel F. Moore, sister; Margaret Fontaine, brothers; Charles "Sonny Hartley, Robert "Bobby" Hartley, Gerald "Jerry" Hartley, and her parents M.C. and Sannie Hartley.
Survivors include her sons; Rodney T. Moore (Marjorie), John R. Moore (Lisa), Samuel E. "Ed" Moore (Darla), grandchildren; Gina Krebs, Mendy Martin, John "Andy" Moore, Kevin Moore, Amanda Swick, Meagan Moore, Allison Davis, great grandchildren; Madison Acker, Brennan Krebs, Wesley Krebs, Lindsey Hill, John Paul Moore, Preston Swick, Grady Swick, Sam Swick, Ivan Wesley Johnson, Ace Johnson, Eli Davis, Josie Davis.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Valley View Baptist Church, Covenant Church and Heritage Health Care Center.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations in her name to one's favorite charity.
