Betty Polley passed away peacefully at her home in Sabattus, March 27th, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Betty was born in Greene, Maine June 10th, 1938. To the late Lizzy and Elwood Wing. On July 4th, 1957, Betty married Alton and raised their family in Sabattus, Maine. She worked in various heel factories, and raised her children, and helped with her grandchildren. In later years, she enjoyed bingo, fairs and horse racing with the girls, casino, and playing cards, and of course family get gatherings. She was the rock of the family, always enjoying the little ones playing, and giving words of advice, and loving each of us.
Betty was preceded by her husband Alton Polley Sr. One sister, and five brothers, and her son Michael Polley.
Betty is survived by her children, Alton (Butch) Polley Jr. and his wife Debbie, Donna Thibodeau, Debra Polley and her partner Brian Picard. Her Grandchildren Jason Thibodeau, Joseph Thibodeau and his wife Deanna, Adam Beaulieu and his wife Monica, Jacob Polley, Emma Polley, and Justin Polley. Her great-grandchildren Caitlyn Kauppinen and her husband Brandon, Jeremey and Joshua, Jaxson, Jameson, Alexah, Leo and Eliza. We want to thank Androscoggin Hospice for their support
Her Funeral will be Friday April 12 at 11am, at Sabattus Community Baptist Church. A light lunch will be downstairs after her service, to celebrate her life.
