Betty A. Priesgen (nee Multhauf), age 77 of Rubicon, Wisconsin went home to Heaven Wednesday, November 15, 2023, reunited with her beloved husband of 44 years, Butch.
Betty was born March 7, 1946 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hartford, WI to Marie (nee Becker) and Eugene Multhauf. She graduated from Hartford Union High School, class of 1964. Betty was united in marriage to Gerald L. "Butch" Priesgen on February 21, 1976 at Holy Hill in Hubertus, WI. Betty enjoyed being a member and treasurer of the Restored Antique Tractor Club with Butch for many years as well as the Neosho Advancement Association. She was a longtime devoted member of St. John Catholic Church in Rubicon and the Christian Mothers. Betty enjoyed volunteering and working concessions for the Neosho's summer softball, sewing quilts and afghans, and crafting. Betty will be remembered as the sweetest, most kind woman and will be dearly missed.
Betty is survived by her loving son, Troy Priesgen, dear siblings-in-law, Darlene (Dale) Grinwald, Eugene Jr. (friend, Cindy) Priesgen, Janet Klink, and Jeffery Priesgen; cherished nephews, Mike (Mary), Rick (Jean), and Jeff (Kris) Multhauf, and Dan (Stacy) Noll; and treasured friends, John Stocker and Tom and Mary Schaefer. She is further survived by many other loved relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jessica M.; parents; parents-in-law, Vanilda V. "Nellie" (nee Moser) and Eugene B. Priesgen Sr. "Tiny"; beloved husband, Butch; siblings, James and Donald (Bonnie) Multhauf, and Mary (Ralph) Noll; bothers-in-law, Ronald "Ronnie" Priesgen.
Mass of Christian Burial for Betty will be celebrated Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, W1170 Rome Road Rubicon, WI 53078, with Rev. Britto Suresh officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Committal, St. John Catholic Church Cemetery, immediately following Mass.
Contributions received are appreciated and will benefit St. John Catholic Church and another benefactor to be determined by family at a later date in honor of Betty.
