Betty Pullins Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cook Brothers Funeral Directors and Cremations - Fairburn on Jan. 6, 2026.
Betty Jean Tucker Pullins was born on March 17, 1962, to the late Mildred Tucker and the late Willie Frank Tucker. She peacefully transitioned from this life into eternal rest on January 4, 2026.
Betty Jean attended Coweta County Public Schools, where she began forming the many friendships that would follow her throughout her life. Wherever Betty went, she left an impression. She was known for her feisty spirit, quick wit, and loving, caring heart. Betty was funny, outspoken, and genuine-you never had to wonder what she was thinking, because she would always tell you. She found joy in dancing and cooking, two of her favorite pastimes, and she delighted in sharing those moments with others.
Those we love never truly leave us; they walk beside us every day-unseen, unheard, but always near. Betty remains deeply loved, dearly missed, and forever held in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Tucker and Willie Frank Tucker; her sister, Judy Ann Tate; and her brother, Willie Tucker. Betty leaves to cherish her loving legacy of faith and love her six children: Antione Tolbert (Chynita Tolbert), Nerota Tucker, Nakisha Tucker, Aldrian Glass, Cassie Dean (Stan Dean), and Daronta Keyshawn Collins; seventeen beloved grandchildren; two sisters, Rebecca Smith and Dianne Robinson; one brother, Robert Lewis Tucker (Christine Tucker); and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will continue to honor her memory.
Arrangements are as follows: A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Saint Smyrna Baptist Church, 68 Heery Road, Newnan, Georgia 30263.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Saint Smyrna Baptist Church, 68 Heery Road, Newnan, Georgia 30263. A repast will immediately follow the service.
