Marian "Denise" Johnson

Marian Denise Johnson, affectionately known as Denise, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on November 9, 1960, in Griffin, Georgia, Denise was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Denise dedicated many years of her life to her work at AAA Airport Express transportation company.

Beyond her professional life, Denise's greatest joy came from her family. She cherished her role as a mother to her children, Lindsey Lisk (Josh), Erin Sidwell (Brandon), and Alex Johnson (Kayla Combs). Her love extended to her grandchildren, Chloe Kusharsky, Aiden Lisk, Connor Johnson, Harper Leigh Brown, Charlie Johnson, Harlen Sidwell, Lexi Johnson, and Odie Sidwell, as well as her great-grandchildren, Phoenix Kusharsky, Asher Lisk, Hayes Kusharsky, and Poppy Lisk. Denise's nurturing spirit and boundless love created a close-knit family that will carry her memory forward. She is also survived by her loving sister, Donna Brown (Scottie), and her step-brothers, Steven Moran, Mike Moran, and Chris Moran, who will all miss her dearly.

Denise is preceded in death by her beloved son, Lyle Johnson, her mother, Annette Moran, her father, Joe McIntosh and niece, Michelle Morris.

A celebration of Denise's life will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to the service to honor and remember the beautiful life Denise lived.

Denise's legacy of love and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all.
