Born to Betty Jo Heller and Robert Rollins, Betty was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Shirley Ann Helms, Martha Greenewood, and Charles Ray Bryan.
On November 28, 2011, Betty married the love of her life, Wayne Ray. A union that was built on deep affection, laughter, and enduring companionship.
Betty worked for over 20 years at Manley ChemDry, where she was known for her strong work ethic. Beyond her career, Betty found joy in the simple pleasures of life, scouting garage sales for hidden treasures, dancing whenever she had the chance, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
A rescuer of stray animals and a fierce nurturer of all things small and vulnerable, Betty’s heart knew no bounds. She greeted everyone with warmth, and to know her was to love her. There isn’t a bad word that could be said about her, her kindness, humor, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Betty will be deeply missed, but her love lives on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.
She is survived by her husband Wayne, her children, Tonya and Don, Sid, and Doyee and Roger, Jeanna and Jimmy, grandchildren, Kristen and Chris, Trevin and Savannah, Skyler, Jayden and Morgan, and great grandchildren Alana, Olivia, and Riverlynn.
