Born on January 16, 1936, in Henderson, Texas, to Lesbia Adams and Metza Jackson Hale, Betty Hale Rinker lived a life of faith, service, and steadfast devotion to her family and community.
Betty graduated from Marshall High School in 1953 and went on to attend Southern Methodist University, where she was a proud member of Pi Beta Phi and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education. In July 1958, Betty married Raymond Dudley Rinker, Jr., and they spent the next 56 years together in Nacogdoches, Texas.
