Betty Ann Simcox

Betty Ann (Hartford) Simcox, 75, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023. She was a beloved Wife to David Simcox and Mom to Tracy Dean and Mike Simcox. She served at the Jacksonville AFB NCO Club for 18 years and loved her time there. Her sacrifice as a military wife for 30 years is something to be admired. Her beautiful smile, sweet spirit, and love for her family and friends will be cherished always. Betty was born on Sunday, February 22, 1948 in St. Paul, Nebraska to the late Vern and Wilhelmina (Suesz) Hartford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Ralph Simcox, and her son-in-law, Russell Dean.
Betty is survived by her children, Tracy Lee Dean of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Michael Vern (Amber) Simcox of North Platte, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Christina Simcox, Amanda (Travis) Heath, Sara (Johnny)Martinez, and Seth Simcox; two great-grandchildren, Nicole and Joshua Clark.
Memorial services for Betty will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Celebration of Life to follow at Jacksonville VFW.
