Betty Carol Stephens, 74, of Waverly, Ohio passed at 5:23 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.
Betty was born February 18, 1951, in Morgan County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late H. Raymond and Thelma (Fugate) King.
She is survived by her daughter, Susie (Stephens) Thompson; grandson Brady Anderson; two sisters, Shirley Frank, Bonnie Birkhimer; by nephews: Harold Humphrey, Maxie Scott, Taylor Birkhimer, Eric Frank, Gerry Frank, Jr. and niece Amanda Burke (Justin).
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Deborah Humphrey: two brothers, Herbert Raymond King, Jr. and James Henry King.
She was a member of the Dailyville Free Will Baptist church.
Funeral Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Jeremy Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
