On May 28, 2023, Betty (Sue) Thomas, at the age of 89 received her wings and went to walk with the angels. She was born on December 29, 1934 and raised in Carlisle, Pa before moving to Asbury Park, NJ where she lived for 54 yrs. She then moved to Ohio where she enjoyed doing ceramics, shopping at Walmart and hanging out with her family.
She is preceded by husband Bobby Thomas, parents James Ruth Coleman, brothers Ronald Coleman,
Richard Coleman and James Hadley, sisters Ruth Hadley, Edith Day, Leona Palmer and Donna Nealy. Surviving children Vickie (Cook) & Malcolm Pope, Randy Thomas and Robert and Pamela Thomas and special granddaughter Brandy Green, niece Tammy (Tinker) Mason and special friend Valerie Carter and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Gloria Coleman and Lindora Coleman and brothers Gary Coleman and Duane Coleman, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
The Viewing will be held at Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Hwy 33 Neptune, NJ on June 9, 2023 from 10 AM until the funeral services at 1130AM. The 2PM interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Condolences may be made online at www.elyfuneralhome.com
