Betty Sue Walker was born on February 15, 1934, in Breckinridge, Texas to Felix Hawkins and Susie Boggs and passed away November 23, 2025, in Mansfield, Louisiana.
She was at one time the Director of the DeSoto Parish Council on Aging.
Betty was preceded in death by parents, Susie and Felix; son, Danny Wood; daughter, Mary Kent; sister, Dorothy Wills; and brother Lester Hawkins.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, David Wood, special nephew and niece Scott Atkins and Christy Shoalmire, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her personal caregivers.
