Orie Ford Obituary
Orie Danita Ford of Converse, Louisiana entered into rest peacefully on November 21, 2025, at 90 years of age. She was born on December 21, 1934, in Benson, Louisiana to James and Loda Rascoe Ford.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana, with funeral services beginning immediately after. Burial will be held at Benson Cemetery, Benson, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 12 siblings, Ken Ford, Ruth Ford, Elsie Harris, Loda Bell, Jimmie Ford, Fred Ford, Mildred Litton, Clayton Ford, Henry Ford, Rose Mormon, Miriam Bailey, and James Ford, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Danita was a private sitter and CNA at the local Nursing Homes. She was a beautiful soul and will be missed.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Rascoe, Jimmy Bailey, Harvey Bryant, Jimmy Bell, Ron Schmidt, and Tomas Bigot.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chal Rascoe, Brian Norwood, and Ronnie Latham.
