UNION, WV – Betty Wickline Williams, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Lindside Healthcare Center with her daughters by her side. Born February 12, 1941, in Lillydale, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Boone Wickline and Nannie Arnott Wickline.
Betty grew up at Lillydale, WV, and was a lifelong member of the Mt. Hedding Methodist Church. She was a homemaker who loved tending to her flowers, sitting on her porch, and spending time with her family. She also loved feeding and watching her birds. Betty enjoyed collecting cookie jars and bells, which became quite extensive over the years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Williams.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet W. Caulkins (Roger) and Karen W. Galford (Elvin), all of Gap Mills, WV; grandchildren, Jennifer Caulkins Webb (David), Brian R. Caulkins (Emily), and Benjamin F. Caulkins; step grandson, Jason Galford (Jessica); great grandchildren, Arabella Webb, Emmalyn Webb, and Landon Webb, who lovingly called her "Little Grandma"; and step great granddaughters, Madison Galford and Avery Galford.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Pastor Jim Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hedding Cemetery in Lillydale, WV.
Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.
