She was born March 16,1939 in Glendale, Florida, to Nancy and William McIntosh.
Betty was a faithful member of Smyrna Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she was always ready to share her testimony of salvation.
She is preceded in death by brothers, William, Don, Raymond, Ben and Wilson; Sisters, Louise and Daisy Jewel.
Betty is survived by her husband of 66 years, John Yerg, Jr. Daughters, Tonya Renfroe, Nancy Pearson (Kim); grandchildren, John Renfroe, Katie Hand (David), Kim Pearson (Megan), Elliott Pearson (Kristie); sister, Nellie Gonzalez(Ben) ; sister-in-laws, Mary Jean Aiken, Bonnie Brown (Frank), Shirley Mclntosh; great grandchildren, Jacoby, Micah, Eli, Olivia, Kinsman, Ella.
Pall bearers will be the deacons of Smyrna Baptist Church and Brother Bill Adams will be leading services.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Smyrna Baptist Church beginning at 11:30am with services immediately to follow at 12:30pm.
