With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Gonzola Young, who was born in Camden, South Carolina, to the late Sallie Thompson. She peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church located at 5422 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28304 with the viewing at 11:00 AM and service at noon.
Mrs Young was a devoted mother to four daughters and one son, a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hezikiah S Young but leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will forever treasure her kind and gentle spirit.
Cunningham Mortuary has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements.
Her love, wisdom, and warmth will be missed but never forgotten.
