Beulah Arvella Abendroth, 83, of Vandalia, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 30, 2025 at Fairlawn Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Caswell officiating. Military Rites will be accorded at the graveside by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post # 95, Vandalia, IL & Brownstown VFW Post #9770. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com
Beulah Arvella Weaver was born on August 18, 1941 in Shobonier, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Clara (Corson) Weaver. Arvella was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to the radio, especially to Elvis, talking to her bird, cooking, reading the Bible, taking pictures, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth and husband John Horton of Springfield, Teresa Figueroa with Nick Avery of Newton, Frank Figueroa and wife Kim of Vandalia, Juan Carlos Figueroa of Simi Valley, CA, and Sonny Reynolds and wife Rosario of VA; grandchildren, Kayla and husband Nate Hanger, Amber Berning, Aaron Etcheson, Matthew Etcheson with Amber, Zachary Etcheson with Lacey, Faye and husband Chris Knebel, Michael Avery, Colby Avery, Scott Figueroa, Chance Figueroa, Chase Figueroa, Brandon Reynolds, Kimberly Reynolds, McKenzie Reynolds; 24 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Ms. Abendroth was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Reynolds; brothers, Harold Lee Weaver and Russell Ray Weaver; and two great-grandchildren.
