Church Point, LA: Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 24, 2025 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Beulah K. Colligan, 92, the former Beulah Kennerson. Mrs. Colligan, a long-time resident of Lawtell, LA, died Friday morning, March 21at Acadia-St. Landry Nursing and Rehab in Church Point. Fr. Michael Vidrine, Parochial Vicar of the Church, will conduct the Services with Entombment immediately following in the St. Bridget Mausoleum in Lawtell, LA.
Survivors include her daughters, Monica Vidrine and husband John and Connie Hidalgo and husband Raymond-all of Prairieville, LA and Delores Turner of Eunice, LA; a son, James Colligan of Church Point; a daughter-in-law, Jeannine Colligan of Church Point; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolton Colligan; her parents, Romain and Bernice Dugas Kennerson; her sons, Gerald and David Colligan; a daughter, Mona Barron and an infant son.
Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until the time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 12:15 PM Monday by Deacon Byrne Winn.
A clerk and seamstress at Fontenot and Guidry Department Store for a number of years; Mrs. Colligan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Truly loved, she will be missed by all who knew her. Arrangements are being handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc.; 219 N. Broadway, Church Point, LA (337) 684-5488.
