She was a homemaker and tobacco farmer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clarence Givan; her parents; siblings Joseph Lee Aubrey, Mary Magdalene Aubrey (infant), George Washington Aubrey, Elma Grant Aubrey Hager Nottingham, Thelma Mae Aubrey Hay, Brandon Aubrey, William Clint Aubrey, Sydney Allan Aubrey, Samuel Thomas Aubrey, and James Holbert "Hobbie" Aubrey; her paternal grandparents, Craven and Elizabeth "Bettie" Richardson Aubrey; her maternal grandparents, Brice and Charlotte "Lottie" Richardson Coffman.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Sue (Darlis) Whitworth, her son, Terry Lee (Julia) Givan; grandchildren Yvette Whitworth Perry, Mark Whitworth, and Kimberly Givan Taylor; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Chandler Perry, and Rebecca and Jonathon Taylor; and great-great-grandson Elijah Perry. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. Cremation was chosen. Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
