Darlene "Dukie" Faye Hisel, age 70, of Hodgenville, Kentucky passed away peacefully as a long term resident of Sunrise Manor nursing home on July 30th, 2025. Born on July 21, 1955, Darlene was a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose humor and fun-loving spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donna and Daril Logsdon, and her daughter, Angela "Angie" Bryant. Darlene is survived by her son, Jeremy Hisel (Deanna); her cherished grandchildren Alan Hoskinson (Amber), Erik Hoskinson (Sabrina), Hailey Hisel, Kaitlynn Small, Adonna Decker, and Ethan Gardner (Lilly); and her brothers Bruce Logsdon (Sherry) and Randy Logsdon (Jennifer). She also leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Affectionately known as "Dukie," Darlene will be remembered for her big heart, strong spirit, and the deep love she had for those around her. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Hodgenville, Kentucky.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday August 3, 2025 4:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Upton, Kentucky, where friends and family are invited to gather and honor the life Darlene lived.

Rev. Mike Walker will be officiating with cremation to follow.

Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Upton.
