Geraldine "Gerry" Hisel, 92 of Clovis, NM passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Plains Regional Medical Center following an illness. Gerry was born August 12, 1933 in Tajique, NM to the home of C.A. "Slim" and Owassa Alice (Tingle) Robinson. She grew up in Pie Town and Yeso, New Mexico and attended Fort Sumner Public School.
Gerry married George Bush "G.B." Hisel on December 24, 1948 in Yeso, New Mexico. She was a lifelong housewife and loving mother. While living in Yeso, NM she worked as the Post Master for the Yeso Post Office. Gerry was a member of Central Baptist Church in Clovis where she was a member of the church choir and Charlie's Angels Sunday School Class. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her pastimes included working at the ranch, singing in the choir, attending her grandkids rodeo's, sporting events, and watching old western movies.
Gerry is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, G.B. Hisel in 2007, her parents, and a son in law Ralph Bold.
Survivors include a son Dr. Glen Hisel of Clovis, NM, two daughters Roby Porter and husband Leon of Albuquerque, and Quanah Bold of Clovis. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren Luke Hisel (Megan) of Elida, NM, Catherine Salvo (Johnny) of Amarillo, TX, Jacob Hisel of Clovis, John Hisel of Portales, Lance Adams (Leola) of Albuquerque, Colt Adams (Rachel) of Corona, Joshua Bold (Bevin) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Summer Lunsford (London) of Clovis along with 10 great-grandchildren.

Viewing for family and friends will be held from 1pm to 6pm on Monday, August 18, 2025 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Central Baptist Church, 2501 N. Norris Street, Clovis, New Mexico with Pastor Michael Kirby officiating. Graveside interment services will take place at 2:00 pm in the family plot, Fort Sumner Cemetery, Fort Sumner, New Mexico. Pallbearers will include Luke Hisel, Jacob Hisel, John Hisel, Lance Adams, Colt Adams, Joshua Bold, Garrett Hisel, and Johnny Salvo.
