Beverly Esther Francis

Beverly Esther (Bedford) Francis, age 81, of Ossineke, Michigan passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, in Spring, Texas surrounded by her family.
Beverly Esther Bedford was born on January 5, 1944, in Alpena, Michigan to the late Harvey Wesley and Esther Valena (Udell) Bedford.
Beverly grew up in a close-knit family and graduated from Alpena High School in 1962. After graduation, she worked several years for Besser Company before marrying the love of her life, Richard "Buck" Joel Francis on October 15, 1966. Together they shared 45 wonderful years traveling, spending time with friends and family, and working together in the family business, Francis Service and Ossineke Party Store in Ossineke, Michigan. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and a longtime member of her church, First United Methodist Church - Alpena, who will be remembered for her kindness, and her love of family, and friends.
Beverly is survived by her children, Heidi (Michael) Wiley and Garrett (Marlene) Francis; her grandchildren, Michael, Adrianna, Gisellie, Gabriel, Quinn, Jordyn, Sharon, Cade, Elleri; and her sister, Marilyn (Robert) Ross.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Buck" Francis; an infant son, Jason Lee; her brothers, Alvin Bedford and Arden Bedford.
A celebration of Beverly's life will be held at Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena, Michigan with visitation on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 2 pm until 6 p.m. Visitation will continue at First United Methodist Church on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Richards officiating.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
