Beverly D. Glodowski, age 81, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
Beverly was born May 13, 1943 in Miami, FL to Vernon Arthur and Grace Ethel (Blood) Richter and was raised in Dundee, IL. She moved to Wisconsin and met her first husband, John Egerer. Together, they owned and operated John and Bev's Tavern. Sadly, John passed away shortly after their marriage.
Beverly later met and fell in love with Dennis Glodowski and they were united in marriage on December 26, 1978. They were blessed with 37 years of marriage before he passed away in 2016.
Beverly worked at Preway, sold Avon and Watkins products, and as a waitress at several area restaurants, but her true passion was being a homemaker and raising her children. She cherished every opportunity she had to bring the family together.
Beverly enjoyed doing arts and crafts and loved to sew. She was an excellent cook. In earlier years, she enjoyed hunting and fishing and summer trips to the beach with her children. She and Dennis loved dancing polkas and waltzes together.
Beverly is survived by her children: Vern (Cindy) Egerer, Robert (Jenni Lee) Egerer, Dennis (Jason) Glodowski Jr., Tammy (Brian) Glodowski, Tiffannyann Worzella, and Tonya Glodowski; 14 grandchildren: Bri, Kyle, Wyatt, Jessica, Braylon, Ty, Eddie, Justina, Daniel, Darionna, Oscar, Liliana, and Shantié; one great-granddaughter, Bailey; and many other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands John Egerer and Dennis Glodowski and grandson Damon John.
Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
