Beverly Lorraine Guyer

Beverly Guyer, 81, of McConnellsburg, passed away on Monday, December 15,

2025 in McConnellsburg Fulton County Medical Center.

Born January 9, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Earl Franklin and Myrtle E.

Reeder Hornbaker.

Beverly attended James Buchanan High School worked as a seamstress for Stanley

Clothing Company, and U-Wanna-Wash-Frocs, and later in life, worked as a

caregiver for the elderly. Beverly earned her GED and raised 4 children, Gerald,

Gloria, Vicky, and Mark. She enjoyed working on sewing projects, tending her

garden, and spending time with her family and friends. In 1984, she remarried

Ralph Guyer Sr. Beverly last attended Shady Pine Mennonite Church and enjoyed

spreading the word of God with others.

She is survived by 3 children, Gloria Sollenberger and her husband Douglas, Vicky

Moore, and Mark Bennett and his wife Amy. Surviving grandchildren include:

Dylan Sollenberger, Shaina Sollenberger, Celeste Auman, Amber Moore, Luke

Bennett, 5 step-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren: Ivan Sollenberger, and

Stella Wright. She is survived by a sister Earlene Price, and brother, Raymond

Hornbaker.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Guyer Sr., her son, Gerald

Bennett, stepchildren, Ralph Guyer Jr., and Melinda Guyer, and siblings, Leanna

Hege, Ronnie Hornbaker, and Janet Hornbaker.

A memorial service for Beverly will be 11:00 AM on January 10 th 2026 at the Shady

Pine Mennonite Church in Willow Hill with Pastor Marlin Butch Neil officiating.

There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
