Celebrating the Life of Beverly Elizabeth Jones
Beverly Elizabeth Jones was born on July 6, 1955, in Spanish Town, Jamaica, W.I., to the late Huntley Homer Jones and Lucille Gordon. Independent, curious, and full of promise from an early age, Beverly carried with her the joy and vibrancy of her island roots throughout her life.
She began her education at Crescent Primary School in Spanish Town, then attended St. Catherine High School for Girls, where her determination and academic excellence began to shine. After two years, Beverly's journey took her to the United States, where she completed her studies at Hempstead High School in New York.
Beverly's passion for learning and success led her to Drexel University in Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Accounting. She would go on to build a career marked by vision, drive, and heart.
A proud entrepreneur, Beverly was known for her leadership and her commitment to helping others thrive. She not only built her own path but also opened doors of opportunity for countless others-mentoring, employing, and inspiring those around her. Her colleagues and friends admired her professionalism, grace, and the genuine care she extended to everyone she met.
After several years in Pennsylvania, Beverly made New Jersey her home, filling it with warmth, laughter, and friendship. She created a rich life centered around faith, family, and service. Whether planning a gathering, lending a helping hand, or offering words of encouragement, Beverly's presence was always felt and deeply appreciated.
Beverly's faith anchored her life. Her church community was dear to her heart, and she lived each day guided by love, kindness, and compassion. She was a woman of quiet strength and radiant spirit - the one you could always count on for sound advice, a hearty laugh, or a comforting word.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved sister Jessica Brown, and brothers Aaron, Donald, Kevin, and Brian; nieces Charlene Carrette, Karrol-Ann Brown, Shareese Lyle, and Morgan Jones; Aunt Winnifred Peake; as well as many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Beverly will also be fondly remembered by her close friends and colleagues, Felice Franklin, Lillian Collins, Mr. Steven Cheung, and Attorney Steven Caputo, who shared many years of collaboration and enduring friendship with her.
Though her earthly journey has ended, Beverly's light continues to shine through the lives she touched, the friendships she nurtured, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy is one of excellence, faith, and compassion-a beautiful reflection of a life well lived, and a heart well loved.
