In Loving Memory of Beverly Ann Lasecki
September 4, 1930 – September 15, 2025
With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Beverly Ann (Jones) Lasecki, the cherished matriarch of the Lasecki family. Beverly departed peacefully on the morning of Monday, September 15, 2025, at the age of 95. Born in Mason City, Iowa, on September 4, 1930, she was the beloved only child of Ida Louise (Klatt) and Hilary Erwin Jones.
Beverly shared 37 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Joseph Lasecki, whose early departure left a lasting ache in her heart. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family.
She was a proud and loving mother to five children: Diane (Scott) Stacey, Joseph Lasecki Jr., Marilyn (Denny) Keating, Rachelle Jaquith, and Robin (Kelly) James. Known affectionately as Grandma and "Gram," Beverly was a treasured grandmother to Alissa (Tyler) Vosters, Nick (Alyssa) Stilwell, Jason (Sara) Jaquith, Joellen (David) Hoffman, Tanya (Peter) Kowalkowski, Joshua (Erika) Jaquith, Kristin Jacobson, Chelsey Jaquith, Jacob (Caroline) Keating, Kelin James, Mason Mistele, and Reis Mistele. Her legacy continued through a joyful abundance of great-grandchildren: James, Ben, Sam, Layla, Cambrea, Rodney Joseph, Sutton, Pieper, Chloe, Enoch, Bryce, Reagan, Nolan, Syd, Jolie, Alanna, and Elizabeth; and one precious great-great grandchild, Olive, lovingly welcomed by Ben and Mia Hovorka.
She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, special friends and neighbors.
Though petite in stature, Beverly possessed a boundless spirit, immense talent, and quiet strength. Her life revolved around her family and those she held dear. A gifted seamstress, who got her start sewing for the Milwaukee Casket Company, where she met Joe, she crafted everything from intricate wedding gowns to elegant draperies featured in the Parade of Homes. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she was always willing to share her abilities with those in need.
Beverly's warmth drew many friends into her life. She delighted in her lunches and dinners out, she enjoyed her coffee time with her close friends at The Berkshire, she found pleasure in long phone conversations. She enjoyed talking about her past and a simple question would set her off on a tale of her life with Joe. She was a devout Christian and bestowed those values onto her children. She was an involved mother and grandmother; she babysat, attended swim meets, baseball games, soccer games, concerts, theater performances, karate competitions/graduations, and award ceremonies. She loved being included in her family members' lives. Her presence was
a constant source of encouragement and pride.
Her children were her world, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the light of her life.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing Beverly is reunited with Joe, her parents, siblings-in-law, and dear friends who went before her. We imagine Joe waiting with a familiar smirk and a warm embrace, teasing, "What took you so long?"
