Beverly "Bev" R. Linenberg, 73, of Tomah, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on September 29, 1951, to Henry Cross and Shirley Wipperfurth in Madison, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Necedah High School Graduating Class of 1971. She was united in marriage to Gary Linenberg. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2003.
Beverly worked for Toro Company before retiring after 30 years. In her spare time, Bev enjoyed shopping QVC, HSN, and talking on the phone, she also loved camping, especially at McMullen Memorial County Park, playing cards and family get-togethers. Most of all she enjoyed making memories with her grandchildren and family. Beverly was known for her love of animals, her own, as well as everyone else's. She was a positive mentor who was always supportive of everyone around her. She had a great sense of humor and was a light to all that knew her. She will be deeply missed, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Beverly is survived by her children, Laurie Linenberg and Kevin (Mary) Linenberg both of Tomah; grandchildren, Tyler (significant other, Madasen) Bjorkman, Cody (significant other, Chesny) Bjorkman, Dalton (Kelsey) Durni, Landen Linenberg and Hayden Linenberg; sisters, Sharon (Myron) Hartman, Louise (John) Ravenscroft, Linda (Skip) Hanson, Diane Nation, Sandy (Greg) Varbel; brother, Clifford (Dorothy) Cross; sisters in law, Ruth Linenberg and Linda Wipperfurth. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by Donald Cross, Barb Peck, Lee Wipperfurth, Robert Cross and John Cross.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah. Pastor Dawn Lindberg will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of service. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
