Carolee Linenberg, 89, of Tomah died Monday, June 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Carolee was born February 23, 1934 to Timothy and Roselyn (Morris) Roof in
Elroy, Wisconsin. Her family moved to Tarr Valley where she attended country school. She was a member of the Tomah Senior High Class of 1952. She was united in marriage to Bernard Linenberg on September 5, 1954 in Tomah. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2004. Together this union brought 8 children, who were the light of her life. She and Bernard fostered children as well, of which 3 were adopted. Carolee enjoyed playing bingo, camping and picnics. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas when her family would gather at the VFW hall in Tomah, and she would provide truck loads of gifts to her loved ones. Seeing her family happy brought Carolee tremendous joy.
