Beverly Jean Lyon, nee Robinson, departed this earth for eternity on December 18, 2025. She was born on March 9, 1929, to the late McKinley and Eunice (Wiegand) Robinson in Appleton, WI. She graduated from Appleton High School. During her youth, she encountered a young man who was destined to be the love of her in 1947. and began their family in Appleton. Lincoln and Bev shared 53 years and three children. He was truly her soulmate.
Bev loved to garden and be outside in her yard. She was a skilled seamstress and made clothes for her children and also enjoyed doing cross stitch. A gifted cook, she was well-known for her holiday stuffing, enough that her family all brought home leftovers. Bev liked to do crosswords, as well as puzzles. She enjoyed reading her Bible as well.
She is survived by her children: Tom Lyon and Peggy (Chuck) Reetz; daughter-in-law Karen Lyon; grandchildren: Stephanie (Kris) Krause, Tim (Shannon Anderson) Lyon, Jennifer (Heath) Powell, Jaclyn (Dan) Caprioli; great grandchildren: Joseph, Elijah, Madison. In addition, she is survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lincoln, her son Jefferey Lyon, her daughter-in-law Linda Lyon, her parents, as well as her siblings.
A memorial service will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11:00am at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N Superior Street, Appleton. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 10:00am until the service begins. Beverly will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park
