Beverly "Bev" M. Meeker, affectionately known as Bev, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024, at the age of 47. She was born on May 3, 1977, in Baltimore County, Maryland, and lived a life characterized by love, dedication, and an unmatched zest for life.
Bev's essence was defined by the powerful love she nurtured within her family. A devoted wife of 24 years to Randolph B. Meeker, she was the cornerstone of their bond and the home they built together. Bev was also the loving mother of Megan and Dylan Meeker, always guiding them with tenderness and wisdom. She was the cherished niece of Lesley and Grant Meyers and Carmen Lamartina and took great pride in her close-knit family ties.
Bev's professional journey was marked by her time at Cigna company, where she diligently worked within the Unclaimed Property division. Her colleagues knew her for her diligence, kindness, and the thoughtfulness she brought to her work every day.
Bev's effervescent personality shone brightest in her passions. A self-described "Crazy Cat Lady," she took joy in caring for her two sister grey and orange tabbies. Her love for life was evident in her varied interests; from reading and crafts to shopping, Bev found joy in life's simple pleasures. She cherished her Hallmark and Deadpool movie nights with the same fervor as baking cookies for local nursing homes or helping with Meals on Wheels. Bev's love for Greek fries from BMORE Greek food truck was as legendary as the love story she shared with Randolph, which started with a fateful drive in a red Plymouth hatchback Sundance.
Bev will be forever remembered as a pillar of strength, kindness, and a love that knew no bounds. Her memory will be a beacon of selflessness and thoughtfulness for all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Though her physical presence is no longer among us, her spirit continues to inspire countless loving family and friends who survive her, each holding close the countless cherished moments and lessons she imparted.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Bev's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD, for a Receiving of Friends, on Saturday, August 17th 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Meals on Wheels Maryland.
