Beverly Nusz Nelson

Beverly Nusz Nelson, 90, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 24, 2026. She was a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family.
Beverly was born in Okeene, Oklahoma on October 15, 1935 and spent her life rooted in faith, family, and service. On January 22, 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, Herman Glenn Nelson, beginning a marriage that spanned 63 years and stood as a testament to commitment, perseverance, and shared devotion to God.
As a wife and mother, Beverly was the heart of her home. She supported Herman through his military service during the Korean War, his civil service career, and their many years of ministry and service to others. Her love was expressed through steadfast presence, prayer, hospitality, and tireless care for her family.
Beverly was a longtime member of Grace Bible Church of Del City, Oklahoma, and later worshiped in Choctaw, Oklahoma. She was not only a longtime church member, but a faithful leader who was engaged in the daily life of the church, teaching women's bible studies and Sunday School classes. Her faith was lived out daily-through kindness, humility, and a gentle spirit that touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children: Paula Goss and husband John; Reg Nelson and wife Twyla; and Gaye Lynn Marino and husband Brian. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Herman Glenn Nelson and her sons, Kendall Glenn Nelson and Bruce Wane Nelson.
Beverly is also survived by nine grandchildren; Christopher Nelson, Jason Nelson, Heather Burke, Clint Nelson, Lisa Danels, Rachel Jones, Taylor Vasden, David Vasden and Nathan Phillips: thirteen great-grandchildren; Tatum Nelson, Chaim Nelson, Hayden Nelson, Avery Jones, Teagen Nelson, Reagen Daniels, Tristen Nelson, Scarlett Daniels, Holden Burke, Hadley Burke, Halsten Burke, Porter Nelson and Vandy Nelson. All of whom were a constant source of joy and pride throughout her life.
Her family has lost its matriarch-a spiritual anchor whose love, prayers, and example will continue to guide generations. Though deeply missed, her legacy of faith, devotion, and love endures.
