Beverly A. Rinehart

Beverly A.(Hess) Rinehart, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, peacefully in her sleep on April 26, 2025 at UPMC Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Stuart J. Rinehart who passed December 30, 2021. They would have celebrated 64 years of marriage this year.
Beverly was born February 19, 1943 in York, PA. The daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Rutledge) Hess and sister to the late Nancy Neidig. Beverly graduated from Central York High School. She worked as a loving wife and mother along with various retail jobs. She was an animal lover. Tink the Yorkie and her bird, Ruppert were her constant companions. She enjoyed watching Murder She Wrote, the Hallmark Channel and doing Crossword Puzzles. Beverly is survived by three children: Teresa Michael (Mitch), Stuart D. Rinehart (Becky), Christina Bechtel (Kenny), nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, all of which she loved dearly. She will be missed very much.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2025 at 1 pm at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens 250 Chestnut Hill Rd. York, PA 17402. Those attending should meet at the entrance to the cemetery at 12:45pm. The Rev. William Mummert will be officiating. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St. York is assisting with the arrangements.
