Beverly Skogman Obituary

Beverly Ann Skogman, 86, of Milaca, died in St. Cloud, Minnesota on December 22, 2024.

She was born August 23, 1938 to Miland LeeRoy Bailey and Eleanor Mary Bailey in Mille Lacs County, South Harbor Township at the home of her grandparents, William and Rose Brandt.

Beverly was married on July 18, 1954 to Donald Lawrence Skogman. They were married for 63 years, 5 months, and 15 days.

Bev grew up in the Cove and Milaca area. She worked in Minneapolis as an Assembler at EMR, which became Univac, which became Unisys. She retired from Unisys in 1993 after 25 years. She also volunteered at the Food Co-op in Isle.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lawrence Skogman, her parents Miland and Eleanor Bailey, son Randy Skogman, grandson Travis Skogman, sister-in-law Sandy Bailey, and brother-in-law Dennis Haugen.

Beverly is survived by her children Debbie (Randy) Larson, Rick Skogman, Dawn (Bud) Schulte, and daughter-in-law Karen Skogman; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is survived by four brothers and sisters Evelyn Haugen, Shirley and Dick Worth, Donald and Cheryl Bailey, Ronald and Mary Bailey; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.
