Beverly Gertrude Swank, 96, of White, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2025 atPiedmont Hospital of Atlanta. She was born on August 10, 1929 the daughter of Arthur Dickersonand Ruth Adaline (Brenner) Johnson.Bev graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1947 and married Donald Swank in 1949.The family moved to Georgia in 1963 where they lived until 1968 when they moved back to Michiganwhere they could be close to family. Bev worked many years at General Aluminum, where she wasemployed in many roles including assembler, welder, and finisher until she retired.Bev is survived by her children, Cindy (Mickey) Cohran and Don (Jean) Swank; Brother Ron Johnson;and grandchildren Andrew and Christine Swank and Ann (Jimmy) Monroe; and great-grands MitchellMcGee and Leoren Simmons. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Kenny,Naomi, Richard, Raymond, Marie and grandson Jonathan Swank.Bev loved to be with family and friends, fishing, camping, and spending time at the lake. She was amember of Parents without Partners where she met Raymond Estelle who became a lifelong friend.She was a wonderful grandmother that made many great memories for both of Jonathan and Andyduring the weeks in summers they spent with her.I will be with you always.A celebration of life will take place at Miller Time Out, 13261 Helmer Road South, Battle Creek, MI49105, on Saturday November 8, 2025 at 2 pm.
