Beverly Joan Tauscher

Beverly Joan Tauscher, 87 of Arkansas City died Sunday, February 18, 2024 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Sam Brand will Celebrate. Interment will follow in the Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Beverly was born July 16, 1936 to Roy Stoskopf and Beulah Calhour Stoskopf in Beaver, Kansas. She graduated from Hoisington High in 1954 and attended nurse training in Salina for two years. On October 8, 1955 married Ernest J. Tauscher in Hoisington, KS. Beverly worked for Newman's and Graves Drug for many years. She was also a seamstress, and caretaker for numerous friends, family and neighbors. Her talents included the best fried chicken, German chocolate cake and chocolate sheet cake. Beverly loved her peacocks, guineas and chickens. She was an avid collector of precious moments, China dolls, grandfather clocks, Beanie Babies. Beverly was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Tauscher of the home; grandchildren, Ashley Strohm and husband, Keith, Abbey Reynolds and husband, Josh, Courtney Hartzell and husband, Matt and Ryan Tauscher; nine great-grandchildren, Ella, Aniston, Emma, Paxton, Weston, Brody, Brynley, Carsyn and Easton.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; children, Douglas E. Tauscher and Darci R. Tauscher; and siblings.
A memorial has been established with the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
