A life filled with love, compassion, and artistry - forever in our hearts.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 12. Born on 12/12/1933, Mom will be remembered by all for the endless love that poured from her heart every single day.

Married for 42 years to Eugene Van Lith, she adored her children Brent Van Lith (Michele), Rebecca Backes (Don), Paula Vollertsen (John), Jennifer Downs (Paul). She will be deeply missed by her loving brother and his wife Mike and Gayle Dargis who she fondly referred to as M&G as well as her grandchildren Ryan (Tracy), Kristina, Casey (Kraig), Tony (Kayla) Lindsay, Gregory, Noah and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Clara Dargis.

Since graduating from Patrick Henry High School in 1951, she dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked for many years as a dental assistant and later became a loving, selfless caregiver to everyone she met. Her compassion shone through in her work at Sharing and Caring Hands, where she served the homeless, and in her role as a Certified Medical Assistant, bringing comfort the the elderly.

She was an avid MN Vikings and Lynx fan, and she held a special fondness for mountain gorillas. A talented and accomplished artist, she painted on porcelain china for most of her life, studying under here dear friend and mentor, Frank Albrecht.

Her kindness, generosity, and joy will be dearly missed, but she will live forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
